these photos are incredible. invoke the nyc i imagined before i lived there – nice to remember how i used to see the city before finally moving there an becoming a new yorker in my own right.
Great series of photos, Neil. No wonder you’re becoming photo obsessed, you’re damn good at it. What were you doing up on the Columbia campus, anyway? (and call next time you’re coming to my nabe if you have time for coffee. ‘K?)
i’m not blowing hot air up your ass or anything, but these are really good photos, they have an authentic and vintage feel of NYC. You’ve got a great eye.
Great shots! There’s something about photo #3, the look on that woman’s face and her posture. And the woman walking down the alley – NYC is supposed to be so crowded, and yet you found an empty alley with a lone pedestrian. Really great eye, Neil.

My god. You are very talented.
Like more than I thought before……
I feel a book coming on “How I see it”

Is that last one Audrey Hepburn?

I can’t decide which one of these I like best. They’re all so very good!
I will say it again, you’re got a great eye!
Nicely done. Pix like this remind me of how different New York is from LA.
you do have an eye for photography. these are wonderfully evocative. Please “play” with pictures some more, and thanks for the little hit of NYC…

These are all so full of character and charm. The last shot is very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn.
These are fantastic. I think polka dot dress is my favorite.

These are gorgeous, Neil. The last one is particularly fabulous.
