Holy cow (the first photo, in particular)!

You know, I have been almost jealous of all of this snow happening almost everywhere except Toronto. But now that I have committed those words to the screen, I’m sure we’ll get our share.
Impressive … and there was me thinking Europe had it bad.

OK, I know I’m going to sound all California-ish for this …
But what do people DO when it snows like that? How do they get their cars out? Does life just shut down till it melts?
Sincerely,
Your Orange County friend.
Twenty Four At Heart posted Yawn!
The city looks so pretty in the snow.

That is a lot of snow! I am hereby not allowed to complain about Seattle snow (it’s never that much).

I second that motion.

fantastic!!!
Those kids looked like they just found out all candy is free for the day, and if you have a sled who cares if the cab is buried in the snow?

I predict complaints of back pain by everyone who’s gonna be shoveling for the next few days. Problem with snow like that in NYC is that I’m sure you’ll run out of places to put it. Aie! Good luck!

I love that supermarket photo. Wow! Snow day indeed.

I miss those days. Sorta.

24- You know I really don’t know what the people with cars do. I take public transportation. They do clean the roads, but I wouldn’t drive the icy, snowy roads today. People shovel the cars out. I think this is why you see a lot more older cars in New York than LA. The winter elements cause rust, unless you have a garage. I would rather have a Civic here than a Lexus. (also less broken into)
And I thought we had quite a bit of snow this year, nothing compared to that.

I can’t even fathom that much snow! The temperature hasn’t dipped below freezing more than a few times here in Texas.

Now, that is fantastic. That is what I call a snow storm. The crap snow we had last week in Paris was nothing !!
I love that you are helping out the elderly tenants in your building, Neil. You should strap on some skis and smile whilst skiing down Queens Main Street to haul groceries.
I’d like to see THAT photo.

Jack and I were admiring your snowy montage and he informed me that the best way for the owner of the yellow vehicle to get to it would be to “eat his way through all that snow!, if he wantsa get inside his car. ”
I’m sure the owner of the cab would be delighted to hear such a solid informational tidbit.
Nice montage. Yo.
