I switched from a latte addiction to Earl Grey addiction to clear up my skin and it helped. Then when I was put on hormones for a medical condition, I had to cut back on the tea, because they triple the half life of caffeine and I went to the emergency room thinking I was having a heart attack one night. (There's not much left I can party on!) I'm trying the green food drinks now which seem to give me a boost...

I agree with the correlation is not causation statement. Also, there seems to be a correlation between coffee use and decreased Diabetes risk. So, I'll be a depressed crazy person but I won't get diabetes. It's a trade off.

Oh great. Just one more thing. But, on the other hand, it's also another good excuse.

I'm going to file this under the "Everything is going to kill, unless it doesn't" heading in which I have all of the other FDA research saved. They've been consistently flip-flop-tastic about red meat and eggs for the last six decades, so it's refreshing to finally see that caffeine is now, officially, the devil.

I'm a tea man. But the occasional white chocolate mocha slips by.

I get cranky without my tea.
