Hi Neil, is Sophia there?
Hey, Sophia, so, Jack did call after you and I chatted this morning, and he said that he and his brother were just hanging, and mired in indecisiveness (which reminded me of Neil trying to decide whether, and if so where, we were going to go eat last Saturday in Portland), and since they didn’t really know what they were doing, and since it’s kinda difficult for me to get up to the city, because I have to take the Caltrain and all, that it might be better if we do it another time, which is fine, I mean, he’s hanging with his brother, whom he hardly ever sees, so I don’t want to intrude, but that’s why I didn’t come up there today. Tomorrow’s possible, though; it all depends on whether my cousin Cinderella (who lives in the O.C., incidentally) is coming up to San Jose tomorrow or Monday, but if she doesn’t come tomorrow then maybe I can come up to the city then, OK? We’ll see. OK, bye!
PS: What’s with the Mardi Gras beads on St. Patty’s Day?
PPS: Have I mentioned, I’m done with the f**kin’ Irish?

It sounds like you two are having a great trip since you left Portland-except for your speeding ticket! I hope the banana bread was good along the way- & you are very right about Portland. That is one of the more stinky things about it-the lack of diversity. Happy St Patty’s Day to you two!

Love the photo of the blogger at work.

Glad to see that you two made it to the parade.
And Sass, because you are questioning the beads, it is obvious that you have not done the St. Patty’s Day scene in SF — or at least not in a number of years. The cool beads are the green shamrock shaped ones.

So, you’re channeling James Joyce. Very cool.

OK - the guy in the Chicago sweatshirt cracked me up. And even though I fear I might be alone in that, I’m still going to laugh. :>
He’s representin’, yo!

I left my heart there once. Can you and Sophia find it for me?
I am glad you are having fun!

What fun photos! I’m Irish and I still didn’t drink any alcohol on St Patty’s day. How weird is that?
How long are you staying in SF?

I loved the photos- Sophia looks killer in that hat. What a beaut! The balloons on the cable car made me happy. I wanna go to San Fran so bad!!
